Spa Visit

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment to receive proper orientation.

Unfortunately, late arrivals are not guaranteed an extension of their scheduled appointment. Upon your arrival you will be issued a robe to change into before your service. We recommend you bring yoru own slippers or flip-flops. Bathing suits for body treatments are optional. We suggest you disrobe to your comfort level, keeping in mind that our therapists will drape your body and expose only the portion of your body that is being treated. Please bring your bathing suits for the use of our spa pool or aromatherapy whirlpool, which are complimentary with any service. Bathing suits are not supplied by the spa. We recommend you leave all jewelry and other valuables at home. If you are a guest in our hotel, please leave all valuables in the safe located in your guestroom or at the safe located at the front desk. The Spa at Castaway Bay is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Reservations/Payment

We recommend reservations to insure the services that you desire by calling 419-625-5772. When scheduling your appointment, a credit card number will be taken to hold your reservation. We accept cash, personal checks, and major credit cards. Services & retail purchases can be charged back to your room using a room key card as long as there is a credit card on file at the front desk. Appointments are scheduled to insure that each client receives the amount of time required for treatments. Please have your Spa Gift Certificate number available when booking your reservation.

Gift Certificate Information

For your convenience, Spa Gift Certificates may be purchased for any spa service or product carried at the spa. May we suggest spa gift certificates for year-round gift giving. You may purchase by phone at 419-625-5772 or in person at the spa desk during spa hours. Spa Gift Certificates are non-refundable, and expire two years from date of purchase. Certificates cannot be redeemed for gratuities. Also, Castaway Bay Gift Certificates and Cedar Point Resort Gift Certificates may be redeemed at the spa.

Cancellations/No Shows

A minimum of 48 hours is required to cancel an individual service and a minimum of 72 hours is required to cancel all Spa Packages (3 or more services). If proper notice of cancellation is not given you will be charged 100% of your scheduled service. All “NO SHOWS” will be billed 100% for their scheduled services.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in any of our services or packages. It is customary to add 15-25% to spa fees. Envelopes are available at the spa reception desk.

Children

The Spa at Castaway Bay is an adult oriented environment, with an atmosphere of relaxation and peace. Children under 18 are not permitted in the spa unless they are scheduled for a service.

Non-Smoking Environment

To insure your spa experience, smoking is not permitted.

Cell Phones and Pagers

Cell phones and pagers are prohibited in the Spa.

Directions

We're located between Cleveland and Toledo in Sandusky, Ohio. Take the Ohio Turnpike (I-80) to Exit 118 and follow the signs north on U.S. 250, or take Exit 110 and follow Route 4 north. Once you get to Sandusky, just follow the signs to Cedar Point; we're at the intersection of Cleveland Road and Causeway Drive at Castaway Bay Indoor Waterpark Resort & T.G.I. Friday's®.
